Hey guys, I just wanted to say great server. Would DPS be interested in another friendly scrimmage? Let me know on X-Fire, our site took a hit. A few of us are going to San Jose to the PC GAMER LAN, hope to see some of you there. We're @ table 9.

WARNNG: Currently the Swine site has the downloader virus that will try to infect your machine when you try to view their site. Most decent anti-virus packages will detect and prevent this but if you're not protected, I recommend that you do not try to visit their site at this time. WabidWabbit.

Hi Razor!

Love you guys and was fun to see you last night on the server! Great that you made it over to our forums!

We're kind of in a transition now as we don't have a team, team practices or a team captain for BF2 at present so we can't accept or issue formal challenges. (Any member who wants to start a BF2 team, it's easy to do, please read the About Us page which explains how!) We used to have a team but got burnt out a bit on leagues as a lot of us have family life to mix in and short notice for games was tough so we let that drop and just gathered to play socially instead for a while. Since then we've taken some members on board new to clanning so it would be very exciting for them to get into a clan match.

However it's been some time and now we are all itchng for a game and have been talking to SGA, another fun and friendly BF2 clan too, who also want to scrim with us. Your timing is perfect as only a few days ago we had a thread going about setting ourselves back up for scrims again.

How about the following:

• Just a friendly pick-up scrim on a passworded server, scores don't really count until we have our team set up again, except as an excuse for a return "grudge" [friendly] match of course.
• We can make most weeday evenings from 9pm PST until no later than midnight PST. Monday is a bad choice since we meet up with guests then for a BF2 Smackdown! (the one you joined us on - welcome to join us on Ventrilo next time.) Perhaps a Wednesday at 9pm PST?
• We need at least a week's notice.
• Not sure of #s but how about both clans bring as many as possible, at least 8 and as it's a friendly, the clan with the greater # players can donate excess players to the other squad.
• We can host if it's stock or Armored Fury maps but if your server is in California then that's an option too. I think you'll like our pings though. Most California members get really good pings on our server.
• Re who to organize at this end, sorry I can't step up there as am overloaded with things to do at present beyond just giving this initial reply so I'm hoping that a DPS will read this thread then the About Us and do his/her bit to get the ball rolling as a temporary acting captain. [Big Hint DPS guys!]
• We play one stock map size 64 twice, switching teams after the first round. If the same team wins on each side then it's a win else it's a draw and an excuse to rematch same time a week later but on a different stock map.
• I'll let others here suggest a map (etiquette is the challenged get to pick eh) but personally I love Wake Island and Dalian Plant so I'll keep my fingers crossed. Feel free to throw maps at us that you guys like.
• An extra thought... How about we invite SGA in on this too and do a little mini friendly league thing. Swine vs DPS, Swine vs SGA, DPS vs SGA?

Fragster is having another LAN Jan 13th '06. Bring the clan, and we'll work on getting the "other than Sonoma County DPS" folks to duke it out. Maybe put up a challange to SGA too?
