Hey guys,
There was a guy on your server today around 3:pm pacific time names YAMATO abusing the voice chat. Sigh, we need to get these kids back in school. Anyhoo, he was a real jerk and we couldn't do anything like vote him off. In case a puppy is in a bad mood and wants to go thru the logs, he was in slot 6.
Thanks for letting me whine!

Werd, next time that happens, goto our members page, and track down me, Doomsday, Icecold, Synergy, and wabidwabbit. We are all DPS admins and our xfires are almost always on, so if there is a problem with the server, grab our xfire ids, and see if you can contact one of us.

Unfortunately logs will only show text messages typed, not transcripts of aural conversations so your best bet is to grab some of us live so we can hear for ourselves and take appropriate action. Just add all our Xfire ids and you're sure to find someone online.  For future reference, it is also useful to give the name of the server (so we know where to get the GUID from) as we have several but I figure in this case it was our CoD2 Dogs of War box since that is the only server currently with in-game VOIP enabled.
I've been out of things a bit with the 'flu and others here have been a little quiet since Xmas hit until now but I think we're all ready to get back into the swing of things, the way things were a week afore Xmas so you can expect to see a lot more DPS gaming on Dogs of War starting... tomorrow.
Yeah, I need my CoD2 fix! I haven't had a decent play for at least a week so am looking forward to this weekend!

Correct on the server. I realized later that the slot he was in wouldn't help when going over the logs. Sorry, I don't know how to get the guid without actually having admin to the server. Yay, I'm not in charge!!!
i'll reinstall xfire. thanks for the postitive feedback.
i'm not sure, but it might be that i'm being followed around to dif
servers. but, can someone even do that, or am i paranoid?
my xfire id is, surprise, "surfergirl".

Follow yes, and "stalking" has been known on the Internet (not that uncommon unfortunately.) Luckily there are real-world laws that deal with such things if you're willing to make the effort and someone starts going to far.
Xfire could show where you are, if you run it while playing but even without it, tools such as All Seeing Eye let you see where a particular player is so I wouldn't bother staying clear of Xfire on that account. Just to show you how easy it is to find someone, I can search all game types, all servers for a player with surfergirl in their name on http://game-monitor.com et voila, I found you just now at French School Girls CoD2 server...

OMG! Again, people using somthing cool for diabolical means! I had no clue. It was interesting because there was someone giving me a bad time in the FSG server. I haven't been wearing my tags because I wanted to know what it was like "out there". I've NEVER had a problem but several times, without provocation (I was too busy talking nonstop in ts ... poor FSG), there were "issues". Man, it's time for the kids to go back to school! At least I hope they're kids and not thirty year olds.
Okay, so y'all said add your xfire id's and I'm going to search your website, but if it's not obvious can someone point me on the path to enlightenment? THANKS.
